Winter is Here

Oh, how I have waited for this moment, we can all put down our grey shorts and string vests because, unless you want to catch a big boy cold this winter you need to make sure that you are dressed warmly. But, of course, us fashionistas need to make sure that we are wrapped up warm but we still looking drippy. I will be lending my helping hand of drip by providing you guys with two very nice winter looks that you can go for. You can mix and match, but please don’t overdo the mix! You don’t want to be looking nuts and then say you got the styles from me because I will definitely deny you like Peter.

So, with this first style I will be going from head to toe, so let’s start with the hat

moncler

Moncler Grenoble Wool Beanie – £140

With the hat, I wanted to keep it composed because the real splahhh is coming further down the outfit. It definitely had to be Moncler because…. It’s Moncler! It is guaranteed to keep your head top warm when that cold breeze comes through. Very standard but, worth it if you ask me.

moncler jacket

Moncler Slim Fit Quilted Shell Hooded Down Jacket – £1405.01

Now let us get into the real drip of the outfit, the jacket. In my opinion, it’s a real deal-breaker when it comes to winter sauce. If your jacket is not popping, it doesn’t matter how the outfit looks you’re starting at -5/10. This jacket with the hat already has you at a 6, by the time we get to the t-shirt my word you’ll already be passed a 10 mate, so your best advice is to follow the steps.

marcelo burlon

Marcelo Burlon Wings Hooded Sweatshirt – £339.00

Whew, onto the sweaters (hoodies). I can’t even lie I’ve never been the biggest fan of hoodies, I’ve always been a t shirt and coat man. However, this one right here is it. I also didn’t like Marcelo Burlon, but it was Modie (actor played by Dave) who showed me the light when he wore his khaki Marcelo Burlon jumper in the Netflix show, Top boy. It’s better to wear a white t shirt under your black hoodie, it matches with the jacket when it is unzipped.

zaraaaaa

Zara Basic Skinny Jeans – £25.99

As much as I was itching to throw in some buss down Amiri’s I don’t want to suffocate you man with the prices, because we got to keep the costs down. So I found these very nice Zara jeans which I would wear.

balenciaga sock

Balenciaga Speed Sock Stretch-Knit Slip-On Sneakers – £525.00

Now to finish off this outfit I will deploy the trusty Sock Sneaker from Balenciaga. Let’s be honest, whoever has a pair of these trainers knows how trusty they are, very comfy, very durable, and it’s very saucy. Don’t need to say much on these trainers just get yourself a pair and join us.

Okay so on to look number two, for this outfit I will be mixing some cheaper brands with high fashion brands as opposed to just doing 100% drip or drown. So without further ado, let’s get into this.

canada goose

Canada Goose Wyndham Parka – £850.00

So, as usual, we start with jackets, and to tell you the truth as much as I want to throw you guys a cheap jacket we all know that isn’t going to be happening, sorry in advance (not really)

Well, you’ll probably see this coat and think Canada Goose, very typical. But, I assure you that if you haven’t got one of these coats and you want to be warm this winter, its essential. The coat is like a heater, and I’m sure everyone who has one themselves can agree with me. In fact, the only disadvantage I give the coat is that it is too warm, so you can really only wear it when the weather is blitz. A coat worth every penny in my eyes and of course I would go with black, because let’s be honest;

  1. It’s a go to colour for everyone because it works with everything
  2. You don’t want to get an exotic colour. Meaning you can only wear it every now and then, because you’re the only one with that colour and everyone will know it is you. Then the drip will just look recycled.

Another benefit of this coat is that you actually don’t need to wear a jumper with it, unless you’re in Alaska or something. You can usually wear a t-shirt knowing the coat will keep you and those arms warm. With that being said the t-shirt I will be using for this outfit is the one and only CDG.

cdg

Comme Des Garçon Play Heart Logo – £81

Very straight forward with this top, we should all know what this is. It’s a timeless classic if you ask me and can go with basically any outfit. The reason I chose the big red heart is that the majority of this outfit will be black, and you want to have a colour or two that stands out, straight out the drip book.

For the jeans, I will be revisiting a usual website I go to for buying jeans due to their skinny fit jeans being so clean.

Represent Clo Repairer Demin – Vintage Black £130.

Clean pair of jeans and be honest everyone loves a bit of rip in their jeans, plain jeans are kind of boring unless the fit in clean or you going to… work. Represent are lowkey, but I feel like they deserve more recognition for the jeans they create as they are all quality, so this one here definitely gets a thumb up from me.

Finally, the footwear I am going for is another personal favourite of mine; Alexander McQueen. You lot are lucky I didn’t suffocate you guys with the MCQ drip but that is for another blog.

Alexander McQueen Oversized Sneaker £450.00

Oh, I love these trainers. To be honest, if I had a wish list of two trainers that I could buy over and over again, I would pick the two trainers I have selected today; the Balenciaga Runners and the Alexander McQueen’s. I love the little studs that are on the heel of the trainer really gives it that rockstar factor, despite being a little bit higher in the price than the normal McQueen sneaker the detail definitely justifies the additional price, and if I am honest a perfect sneaker to finish off the outfit.

As always thank you for taking time out of your day to read this blog, appreciate it lots, I will try to post more of you guys, but the support is appreciated, for now though follow me on my fashion instagram: fashionbylizzy_ for all updates fashion and blogs. Until next time. Peace.
